End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (EULA) is entered into between Lift-Type SAS (Licensor) and you (Licensee).

By downloading, installing, or using any typeface provided by Lift-Type (the Font), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this agreement.

If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the Font.

Introduction

This agreement defines the terms of use for the purchased Font.

The Font is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of Lift-Type. Our products are not sold, but are licensed to you as end user.

The License is non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, and does not grant any intellectual property rights to the Licensee.

License packages

Definition of company size

The price of the License is based on the size of the company using the Font (“Advertiser”):

• The final Advertiser displaying the Font determines the company size, even if the License is purchased by an intermediary (agency, freelancer, printer).
• Includes all employees, permanent or temporary, as well as subsidiaries and associated companies.
• Contractors integrated into the regular operations of the company may be included in this total.

The Licensee agrees to provide accurate information regarding company size.

If the company grows or usage evolves, an upgrade to a higher License level is required before any new use.

Any misrepresentation or failure to update constitutes a breach of the agreement.

Special discounts

• Students: –80% upon presentation of valid proof (ID card, institutional email…). This discount is not available for teachers or universities, but if you are representing a school, and wish to purchase some of our products, please feel free to contact us.
• Associations or nonprofit organizations: –50%.

Political or religious

Political or religious projects: subject to prior approval; Lift-Type reserves the right to refuse association of the Font with values deemed incompatible.

Usage restrictions

The Licensee is not permitted to:

• Modify the Font (design, spacing, structure).
• Rename the Font files.
• Create derivative works or new variants (weights, styles, glyphs).
• Translate or extend the Font to a new writing system (alphabet, language).
• Convert the font file to an other font formats.
• Distribute, resell, lend, give away, or make the Font publicly available (website, shared repository, accessible server…).
• Use the font or a single glyph as a logo or wordmark without the appropriate license.
• Use the Font or a single glyph in NFT projects or other speculative digital assets.
• Use the Font or a single glyph to train, feed, or improve an artificial intelligence or machine learning system.

Third-party delivery

The Licensee may provide the Font to service providers (printers, developers, agencies) only for the execution of the licensed project.

These third parties may not use the Font for other projects or clients.

The Licensee is responsible for any use by such third parties.

Intellectual property-

The Font and all its versions remain the exclusive property of Lift-Type.

Purchasing a License does not transfer any rights and does not grant ownership.

Rights granted are limited to the scope defined in this agreement.

Any use not covered is prohibited without prior written consent.

Backup and storage

The Licensee is permitted to keep a backup copy of the Font, for internal use only.

Upon termination, all copies, including backups, must be deleted.

Term and termination

Perpetual license for the agreed use.

In case of breach, Lift-Type may terminate the License immediately without refund.

After termination, the Licensee must cease all use and delete all files.

Warranty and liability

The Font is provided “as is,” without express or implied warranty.

In case of proven technical defect, a replacement may be provided.

Lift-Type shall not be held liable for indirect damages, loss of income, or harm related to the use of the Font

Agreement modification

Lift-Type reserves the right to update this EULA.

The applicable version is the one published on the website at the time of purchase or download.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by French law.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Font, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this agreement in its entirety.
