After the corporate office discovers that Michael has been making insensitive remarks to his coworkers, they send a sensitivity trainer to the Scranton branch, but when Michael doesn't agree with everything the trainer says, he sets up his own sensitivity workshop.

Hollis Partridge "Holly" Scott (née Flax) is a fictional character played by Amy Ryan in the television series The Office. She married Michael Scott at some point in the series after the characters left for Colorado and had four unnamed children. Holly also made her only Season 6 appearance, in archived footage, in The Banker. When Toby is preparing to move to Costa Rica, Holly is hired as his replacement. Holly undergoes training from Toby to become the HR representative at the Scranton branch. Dwight is instructed to haze Holly, which Dwight takes too far by putting a raccoon in her car and convincing her that Kevin Malone has special needs. Michael likes her and is angry at Dwight for doing that.

Andrew Baines "Andy" Bernard is a fictional character portrayed by Ed Helms. He did not have a counterpart in the original British version of the series. He is introduced as the Regional Director in Charge of Sales at the Stamford branch of paper distribution company Dunder Mifflin in the third-season premiere when Jim Halpert transfers, ultimately merging with the Scranton branch in the episode "The Merger" later in the season. He becomes Regional Manager at the Scranton branch courtesy of Robert California in the eighth-season premiere following the departure of Michael Scott and Deangelo Vickers, although temporarily is fired and replaced by Nellie Bertram before his reinstatement by new CEO David Wallace.

Janet "Jan" Levinson (formerly Levinson-Gould) is the secondary antagonist of the U.S. sitcom The Office. Her counterpart in the UK version is Jennifer Taylor-Clarke. She is portrayed by Melora Hardin. At the start of the show, she is the Vice President of Northeast Sales at the paper distribution company Dunder Mifflin, directly supervising central character and Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch, Michael Scott. Her character is notable for the dysfunctional relationship she enters with Michael following the second-season episode, "The Client", until the fourth-season episode "Dinner Party". Michael and Jan's personas contrast to much humor in the series, particularly in their professional attitudes and social interactions.
